Chicago Condominium Shopping Doesn't Have to Be Nerve Racking
After months of looking, Adam and Sara Ward finally settled on a three bedroom condo fronting a quiet neighborhood. "Once you've decided Chicago condos are the way to go, you have to decide on the style. Do you want apartment style condominiums with people living above or below you…an attached home with multiple floors … or a ranch style condo. I was surprised to find out they came in different floor plans like this."
Sara went on, "Obviously you have to be prepared to give up some privacy with condo living when compared to single family homes. That's why we went with newer units that are better insulated for sound. And our condo association has decided all units must be carpeted since that's quieter too."
Finally there are three variables in any condo search that determine how fast you're going to find a place.
